American History X

The film is about a young high school student in Venice, Ca. with an influencing neo-nazi by his older brother before he went to jail. Danny Vinyard in a student at Venice Beach High School having to through life with a screwed up home life. Derek Vinyard is Danny’s older brother that got into the neo-nazi party when his father a firefighter was killed trying to put out a fire in a crack den. Derek blamed the “niggers” for his fathers death and Danny is following his foot steps. When Tyler is released from jail he has a different state of mind, but Danny his younger brother still follows his old ways.

Fight Club

The film is about a guy, who narrates the story that has problems with life and is trying to find ways to cope with these problems. The narrator meets a guy named Tyler Durden, and together they start a fight club. The club starts out with them beating on each other, then people start watching them and want to join. The narrator says that Tyler is everything he wants to be but just cant be. Tyler makes the fight club big enough to be able to start taking things over. By then end of the film the narrator figures out that Tyler Durden is him and he is Tyler Durden. So by coming up with Tyler the narrator finds a way to cope with life.

Im Gonna Get You Sucka

The black spoliation film is about how in the 70s everyone is addicted to gold chains and when a gangster OGs (over golds) and gets killed by crime bosses his brother comes for his revenge. When Jack Spade’s brother OGs and is killed by the streets Jack takes matters into his own hands. With the help of John Slade, an old childhood crime fight for Jack. Jack and John cause havoc to the crime in the streets. With a very comedic view on black movies the make sure to show “its hard to be a black hero.”

I Love You Man

The film is about this young man who is about to get married, and his wife is a little bothered with the fact that her husband has no close friends. Peter Klaven is a little out of reach with friend making abilities so he goes on a hunt to find a best friend so he has some one to be his best man. His wife at first wants him to go out and meet guys so she can have some away time with her friends. When  Sydney Fife comes into the picture is when Peters life changes. Sydney and Peter form a bond and seem to be best friends and Peters wife is starting to get upset because he spending more time with his friend then he is with her. The film is all about how people can make such a bond that you can say I love you man with no challenge of sexual orientation

Toy Story

The film is about how a young boy has a bunch of toys, and the toys have a a life of there own. The toys live there lives in a very secretive way so that the humans wont know that the live. Woody is a cowboy who is the little boys favorite toy to play with, so he is the coolest toy between the toys. Now when Buzz Lightyear comes around as a birthday present Woody is not the coolest toy anymore and all the toys love Buzz now. Woody is a toy and knows he is a toy, Buzz on the other hand thinks he is an outer galactic space hero and not a toy. Buzz and Woody have a falling out and fall out of the car in the middle of no where, so they have to work together to get back to the house before the family moves out of the house to never be seen again.

Talk To Me

 

The film opens with this inmate talking to his fellow inmates over the loud speaker as a radio anouser in a person. The story is that a hip down to earth african american ex con, Petey Green  gets a chance to be a radio personality in Washington DC in the 60s. This is the place and time for Petey  express himself to the fullest extent and the public seems to love it. As Petey gains popularity his friend and colege Dewey Hughes helps him in to show business with, talk shows, stand up gigs and even a chance to go on the tonight show. When Dewey Hughes gets cought up in fame he manages to miss that Petey is the guy behind the mic “tellin it like it is” not the guy in front of a camera being someone he is not.

The Wood

Roland, Slim, and Mike are three child hood friends that are going through there own problems and have to give one of them up to marriage. The film opens up at a wedding and they cant find the groom. Mike and Slim desperately look for Roland thats when its brought to Mike how they met. Mike comes from North Carolina to a school in Inglewood California and meets his future best friends and that puts him in a situation that would bring them closer forever. Roland bets Mike to go grab this young lady butt which brings him to her brother and his fist. As the movie goes on they go  back and forth through childhood and present day remembering girls, games and situations the may have faced in there lives realizing that they are grown men doing different things but it wont stretch the friendship.

Bubba Ho-Tep

besides two celeberty guests, giant cockroaches, and just a weird vibe at Mud Creek Rest Home in Mud Creek Texas its as normal as grandmas house. The film opens with a man lying in bed waking up to a loud noise, so he put his Elves sunglasses on to see. Sebastion Haff is a patient at Mud Creek Rest Home, he clames he was an Elves impersonator that fell off stage and broke his hip. Now he thinks he was Elves and switches places with an impersonator, Sebastion Heff because he is sick of the fame. Elves says there was a contract that says they would switch back when he wanted to. That contract was lost in a BBQ acsedent, where the lighter fluid leeked onto the BBQ and it blew up. Elves meets an old man black man that clams to be JFK. JFK thinks the government has taken half of his brain and replaced it with sand and died his skin black. But Mud Creek has some other wired things going on despite the two old guy thinking there famous people.
